Dear Church Family,

Ah, it is absolutely wonderful to be back home on American soil. And I can hardly wait to see you this weekend as we celebrate Cathedral's 23rd anniversary in our services and at our family picnic on Sunday afternoon!

How quickly the time flies! Dean and I have so many wonderful memories of what God has done here at Cathedral and through the ministries we have been able to help around the world over the years. We stand in awe of God's faithfulness and miraculous provision. As we tell our story again, we remember our rich heritage and preserve it for future generations.

Thank you for being so supportive of my recent trip with Luke to spend 18 days with  Adrian de Visser and his ministry team in Sri Lanka and surrounding countries. We are still processing everything we experienced. Your prayers and financial gifts mean so much. For now, let me assure you that when you give to missions at Cathedral, you are planting seed in rich soil that is yielding a great harvest in the lives of men, women and children who desperately need the hope that we have in Jesus.

As the Church, we have the capacity to be a tremendous agent for change in our world, whether it's right outside our front door or half-way around the globe! I look forward to seeing what the future holds as we continue moving forward into God's call and direction for our church. Thank you for being part of the family here at Cathedral! See you this weekend.

Doing life together,

Pastor Mike Lewis
