Dear Church Family,

It's a summer of firsts - our first services back in the newly renovated worship center and the opening of Cathedral Preschool! We are excited about the changes and new things happening at Cathedral.

Cathedral Preschool now has a director! She, along with a strong team of educators and administrators, are interviewing potential staff members. We're renovating several rooms in our main building in preparation for the grand opening on August 9. We have spaces for infants through age 3. Please help us spread the word! Application packets are available in the church foyer or online.

I appreciate your patience and support over the last three weeks as we have held services in the Athletic Center. Be sure to join us this weekend for our first services back in renovated worship center. It will be so nice to be back "home." We're not totally finished with the project, but we're ready to move back in.

This will be a weekend of celebration. Even though I'm supposed to be out on study break, I didn't want to miss this important occasion. So I'll be back with you, leading the charge in the service. Let's make this a distinctive moment that sets the tone for the future. It's a time of setting apart this place as holy ground that is dedicated to God's purposes, by filling the house with praise and worship and experiencing God's presence together.

Come prepared to worship and invite someone to join you. We know that transformation and life-change happens in the presence of God. You don't want to miss it! I'm looking forward to seeing you and have great expectations for what is going to happen.
